A daily life activity using Methodology could be cooking. It follows a set of rules, methods and procedures to obtain an outcome which will fit the needs of the client (restaurant customer or family member).
It uses a specification such as, if the consumer is vegetarian or is allergic to a certain ingredient. If the client has preferences, for example a certian meat that they like.
Rules such as over-cooking or under-cooking provides discipline to the manufacture of the food.
Following a recipe book that explains the quantities of each ingredient, giving a set of instructions, provides the processes of the methodology and allows the chef to create the meal with greater accuracy and meeting the specifications to a higher level.
